The Limburg cycle route network takes you through the most attractive landscapes - from junction to junction. Rolling Haspengouw with its church villages, castles and seas of fruit. Flat Maasland where you can cycle over the Maasdijk and cross the border smoothly with the free bicycle ferryboats. The Voerstreek with its spicy hills, streams and autumn silence. The Kempen with its colourful mix of canals, purple heather landscapes, pine forests, panoramic views and lakes.

Cross-border cycling map

The cross-border cycling map collects 1000 km of cycling pleasure over 3 countries and bundles the cycling route networks of Belgian Limburg (region Kempen and Maasland), Dutch Limburg (Middle en South-Limburg) and Kreis Heinsberg (D) on 1 clear map. Too much choice of junctions? No problem, you get 6 themed routes that show you the best of the region each time.

Theme bike map National Park Hoge Kempen

The Hoge Kempen National Park is the only National Park in Belgium. Three bike loops take you through unspoilt nature. You cycle from gateway to gateway, through a backdrop of vast pine forests, purple flowering heather and glistening ponds.

Maasland, the land of water and picturesque villages, has a rich history with a fascinating heritage. You pass idyllic villages in both Belgium and the Netherlands such as Leut, Oud-Rekem, Maaseik, Dilsen-Stokkem, Thorn. The four cycling loops are cross-border. You cycle onto the ferry and cross over to the Dutch bank where you connect to the Dutch cycle routes.
